Colorado Springs Wedding Photographers | Fall Garden Wedding

From friends to lovers, K and M first met back in 2015. M enjoys Origami, working on his truck, and watching youtube videos on cars. K likes to travel, relax, watch new shows, and eating at new places. The number one thing they both shared with each other, however, is their interest in playing pool. Both of them happen to be excellent pool players, so they hit it off right away and developed a friendship. For a couple of years, they casually saw each other until one day, they both confessed their love for each other! Since then, they have been inseparable. K moved from California to Colorado to be with M in 2018, and on September 4th of 2020, he proposed!
Their engagement session was taken at Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs. Karissa wore a maroon dress, which was a gorgeous color that truly complimented her. The biggest thing I noticed throughout this whole shoot was the chemistry between them. It was like no other - the constant laughter and smiles between them really showed how much they truly enjoyed each other’s company. View photos from their session here.
Why Hillside Gardens & Event Center is a Great Place to Get Married
They decided to have their rustic and semi-vintage fall garden wedding at Hillside Gardens Event Center in Colorado Springs. This venue is one of the coolest places to get married in Colorado Springs. It offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos! K wore a beautiful off-the-shoulder lace gown, and her bridesmaids wore maroon dresses. They had one of my favorite small businesses, Runaway Bakeshop, craft the perfect vegan wedding cake and cupcakes.
To make their day even more personal, they included pool balls and origami made by M to their reception details to commemorate the first time they met. The decoration was crafted and perfectly displayed on each table. It was one of the sweetest things!
By the end of the night, everyone was dancing the night away and celebrating the now newly weds. Congrats K & M!
