Macy and Austin got married at Hillside Gardens, which is a hidden gem in Colorado Springs with a pretty garden. It was a gorgeous day in June and even the rain/high winds didn’t dampen this beautiful garden wedding!
The ceremony had a beautiful service under a flower arch. During the ceremony, they had a beautiful reading. It was a real tear-jerker. They decorated the area with different kinds of persian inspired rugs, which I loved and are as unique as the couple. The reception was held in the pavilion at Hillside Gardens – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Hillside Gardens & Event Center are amazing, because the surroundings are so unusual and not what you’d expect at all when you first enter it.
Why Hillside Gardens & Event Center is a Great Place to Get Married
Hillside Gardens is really peaceful and secluded, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Colorado Springs. The venue offers an amazing atmosphere for a wedding – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.
The couple invited their guests to explore Hillside Gardens during cocktail hour. They definitely didn’t need to entertain their guests in the afternoon as there is so much to see! The evening started out with a grand entrance along with a welcome prayer. For dinner they had their favorite fast food catered, Chick-Fil-A, and their guests had a lot of fun in the evening with a photo booth. They finished off the night with sparklers.
Macy wore a boho dress and Austin wore a nice suit jacket and they looked really incredible. I photographed Macy and Austin earlier last year for a wedding styled shoot at Ivywild School in Colorado Springs.
