MY HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE 2020 | SMALL BUSINESS HOLIDAY GIFT IDEAS

This year, it is more important than ever to support small businesses. By shopping small, you can help your favorite shops and makers keep their doors and businesses open. Rather than shopping at large, big-box stores or retail websites for the holidays(and throughout the year really), I have chosen to purchase all of my gifts through my favorite small businesses. If unique gifts, personalized service and giving back to your community is important to you, check out this guide. I know you'll be able to find something amazing!

HOME GOODS

MountInspire - Rocky Mountain inspired home and lifestyle goods. My favorite items are the vintage bookmarks, scrunchies and keychains!

BerryGoodGoods - Punny gifts for the fruit and veggie lover. My favorite items are the dish towels, greeting cards and tees!

Fabled Books - Handmade journals from vintage books. These are the perfect handmade gifts for book and journal lovers!

SWEETS

Bonbon Bombardier - Small batch vegan chocolates and treats! My favorites are dark chocolate strawberry bark and almond toffee crunch!

Runaway Bakeshop - Vegan baked goods with fresh and natural ingredients. My favorites are the donuts and cupcakes with seasonal flavors!

Blossom Baking - Small batched baked goods with delicious flavors. My favorites are the handpies and scones!

BOOKS & PLANTS

Twenty Stories - My favorite Providence based independent bookstore. Every month, they thoughtfully curate twenty books with a diverse list of authors, themes and publishers. I have never purchased a book from here that I didn't like!

The Living Room - Plant nursery with a variety of plants, ceramics, books and decorations. At the beginning of the pandemic, I owned one succulent and a ZZ plant. I won't tell you how many I've purchased since as gifts to friends and ahem, myself. All I can say is, this is the place to go when shopping for a fellow plant lover!

JEWELRY

Rose & Royce - Modern, colorful Bohemian art and accessories. My favorites are the fabric bow hoop earrings and scrunchie headbands!

Wilder Bag Co. - Vintage and handmade jewelry. My favorites are the one-of-a-kind earrings and anti-racist prints!

Desert Knots - Handmade and Boho inspired macrame jewelry. My favorites are the holiday macrame earrings and the giant monstera statement pieces!

Laurel & Co. - Handcrafted well-made jewelry of mixed metals and precious stones. My favorites are the statement rings and hair pins!

STORES

Ladyfingers Letterpress - My go to shop for greeting cards, stationery and locally made gifts for any occasion! Their storefront is temporarily closed to the public but their online shop is open for curbside pickup and shipping. Check out their gift guides for easy shopping!

Lost Pines Art Bazaar - This Texas based shop offers a variety of inspired goods, specialty gifts and home decor from around the world. They curate the best care packages!

Eclectic Co. - A retail boutique that houses over 80+ artisans and makers(many are listed above!) between their two locations. For all things local, sustainable and handmade, look no further! There is always something new and unique every time I visit!

Heartshake Studios - An artist-owned shop featuring handmade goods, home decor and vintage wares. This shop makes me so happy every time I visit. There is a huge selection of gifts for every person in your life!

Gift cards from local restaurants! My favorite burger place is downtown and I'd hate it if they didn't survive this pandemic.
