Hello, my dear readers! Today I'm thrilled to share with you the heart-melting love story of J and B, and their Colorado Springs fall engagement session. Get ready to step into their world, where love is at its finest and adventure awaits around every corner.
Six years ago, B had just moved here from Texas and was out on the town with her friend visiting from San Antonio. At Copperhead Road Bar, she caught J's eye. After exchanging numbers, they have been inseparable ever since. B says that J had her at hello, and looking at their adorable photos, it is easy to see why.
A little adventure goes a long way in bringing people closer, and B and J's first date was no exception. They kicked the day off with a trip to Cave of the Winds and braved the adrenaline-inducing Terror-dactyl ride - a massive swing that soars over Williams Canyon in Manitou Springs. Afterwards, they hiked Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Then they retreated to B's place to watch Game of Thrones, sealing their new bond. Recently, they rekindled the spark of their first date for B's birthday, and now they have a video of them riding the Terror-dactyl ride! Talk about keeping the memory alive!
Now, we have to talk about the incredible moment when J popped the question. B's favorite time of year is Halloween and October, so J planned this moment perfectly. They hiked Mt. Cutler in Cheyenne Canyon, which holds a special place in their hearts as it was one of the hikes they did when they first started dating. Not only that, but they can enjoy the trail together as they age, bringing their future kids on hikes and adventures with them. The best part? They were able to watch the sunrise and enjoy the gorgeous scenery together before taking the next step in their love story. B initially didn't want to get out of bed for the hike, but J gently nudged her into action, resulting in a morning that they both will never forget.
J and B enjoy adventure; they are both avid rock climbers who participate in 5k races and ski. A cozy night in watching TV is also a favorite, and they bond over their shared interests in Star Wars and scary movies. If they could go anywhere for their ideal holiday, they would either choose an all-inclusive resort near a beach or a European adventure. Their inner child also draws them to Disney World, where they can embrace the magic and create new memories together.
It's safe to say that J and B are clearly head-over-heels in love, and it was my absolute pleasure to capture their special moments during their Colorado Springs fall engagement session.These two clearly love each other and that emotion is reflected in the pictures we took together.
