If you're planning a wedding at Boettcher Mansion in Golden, you'll enjoy this wedding!
Paige and Jesse got married at A Boettcher Mansion, which is a historic and rustic estate in Golden with stunning grounds. It was such a fun wedding and the weather was perfect for their big day!
The reception was in a beautiful room at Boettcher Mansion – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Boettcher Mansion are amazing, because the surroundings are so lovely.
Why Boettcher Mansion is a great place to get married
Boettcher Mansion is a gorgeous stone lodge, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Golden. The venue offers customization – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.
I often hear love stories on how the wonderful couples I photograph meet, and I'm always in awe every single time because the possibilities of meeting the love of your life are endless. Paige and Jesse actually met on Tinder five years ago. They didn't want anything serious and they had just gotten out of long term relationships ... but when you know, you know. They kept seeing each other and they knew what they needed; a best friend to share their lives with. When it came to a proposal, it was movie-esque. Paige and Jesse went to Hawaii with her now brother-in-law and on day 3 of the trip, they hiked up Waimea Canyon (where Jurassic Park was filmed!) and went off the trail just the two of them. It started to rain slightly and as she turned back, Jesse was down on one knee. Completely shocked, Paige's answer was, "Are you serious? Yes, of course, yes!" Even though marriage was talked about in the relationship, the proposal was completely unexpected and perfect. That evening to celebrate, they listened to live music over dinner, and watched the sunset on the ocean with a few glasses of wine. The day of the wedding was just as spectacular, they went the non-traditional route and chose to wake up next to each other as they've done the past 3 years. They continued later with a 'first look' before the ceremony. The ceremony ended with Paige being "Knighted" with a sword and Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl" played for their recessional -- it was an amazing and beautiful wedding. Congratulations, Paige and Jesse!
