Lauren and Thomas got married at Grant-Humphrey’s Mansion, which is an elegant mansion in Denver with stunning grounds. It was such a happy day even amidst an October blizzard!
Their outdoor ceremony was moved inside a beautiful room. During the ceremony, they each read their own vows which was a real tear-jerker. Lauren and Thomas had succulents for wedding favors, which I loved. Their reception was catered by Giordano’s which is a favorite of Lauren and her family. I love shooting at Grant-Humphrey’s mansion because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Grant-Humphrey’s mansion are amazing because the building exudes a great atmosphere. Grant-Humphrey’s mansion is a great venue to get married and I highly recommend getting married here!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how these two met through Laurens' older brother?! How cute is that? When I asked Lauren how she and Thomas met, she said that her older brother would bring him over to their house all the time to play video games and their love story began. Their first date was at their favorite bookstore, not realizing that they both frequented the same one all the time, but had not run into each other. This common ground would later become the place that Thomas proposed to Lauren, and obviously she said yes! When it came time to decide on a venue, they knew that Grant-Humphreys mansion was the place with their gorgeous winter grounds and neoclassical style of architecture. The day was calm and beautiful and I'm so glad I was there to capture it for them both, congratulations Lauren and Thomas!
